We can start with the millions of babies aborted [murdered] in the |U.S. alone.... but now it may soon become ILLEGAL to read and / or disseminate the Bible or explain what real sin is !! Europe and Canada already ban most freedoms and here "Christians" won't stand up to fight for our "Rights.|" So go figure, what does this once great cou8ntry stand for now in the year 2008 ? Surely not for Christ.

Tom Schuckman
Old Soldier Tom's Journal
Disabled Vietnam Veteran: 68-70Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3541746302550046670.post-9379370615310584552008-07-04T11:07:00.000-07:002008-07-04T11:07:00.000-07:00Wonderful post hon! Unfortunately the way our government runs today I think our founding father's would be embarassed and somewhat ashamed at what has happened in the years since they fought for our independence. I do hope you have a wonderful day today. : )

AllisonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3541746302550046670.post-56276314671418595582008-07-04T16:07:00.000-07:002008-07-04T16:07:00.000-07:00Hi Dirk. Today, I read it to my son so he could truly understand what Independance Day means and what it means to me as an immigrant. As I was reading it, I couldn't help but see how many of the grievances against George III are very similar to many of the things that are going on now. It makes me very sad to see such a wonderful country , in essence, throwing it's future down the toilet. Sorry, it's the only discription I could think of right now. I will be posting about it later- but for now- God Bless America, her troops and patriots, and May we remember to thank Him for our inalienable Rights! God Bless you and Nelishia, DIrk- I'm going to the other link you left from her. Thank you! Allot of people do not know that they have the right to receive a copy of both the Delaration of Independence and the Constitution for free. So many of our important holidays are just three day party weekends to peope without any regard for the reason behind them.
LisaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
