CYBER ATTACKS AGAINST THE U.S. & IRAN'S "NO NUKES"

This information came from the HAL LINDSEY REPORT about attacks against America's cyber infrastructure.  This is something you definitely will not hear in the news, but it's an issue of vital importance to national security. Here is the summation of what Hal Lindsey covered in his report of February 22nd:

This week on 'The Hal Lindsey Report'
On this week's edition of "The Hal Lindsey Report," I'm going to take a look at one of the most dangerous threats ever to confront America. The insidious aspect of this threat is that it is "out of sight - out of mind." It's not overtly military or obviously terroristic, yet in reality it's both.

I'm referring to the ongoing and escalating level of assault against America's digital infrastructure. Do you think it won't affect you? Short of a nuclear dirty-bomb explosion in your city, there's probably no other kind of strike that will have more impact on you personally than an attack on America's communication, banking, transportation, and power infrastructures.

The scary thing is that this battle -- cyber war -- is already being fought daily in the digital trenches by America's military and security forces. Some estimates say more than 20 countries are actively staging daily assaults on America's computer controlled systems -- everything from our GPS satellite network to the computers that control sanitation treatment in our major cities. And at the forefront of this war? China. (Talk about biting the hand that feeds you!)

This week, I'll also tell you about the new advanced missile defense system that Iran is purchasing from Russia. Its purpose is to defend the nuclear facilities that, according to the intelligence community, are NOT preparing to manufacture nuclear warheads!

Since our entire nation from the biggest to the smallest applications are run by computers now, one can see how serious this threat is.  One successful attack against the U.S. by computer could cripple our defense system, our economy, and even our physical infrastructure.  Disaster could be brought on our country without firing a single shot.  China and Russia are at the forefront of these attacks.  And who sold so much computer technology to these two countries advancing their capabilities by decades to enable them to do this?  Former President Bill Clinton.  As Mr. Lindsey said in his commentary, "Thank you, Bill."

And about Iran . . . now you didn't REALLY believe they were purchasing that missile defense system from Russia just to protect a bunch of power plants, did you??  As the old country preacher I grew up under used to say, "A man with half-sense and one eye could see that!"

Be sure and take the time to view the video on Hal Lindsey's website.  He goes into more detail about this than I can go into here.  It's only thirty minutes long and those of you with slow connections, it would be well worth your time to load it and view it.  You can view this video by clicking HERE.

I doubt if we can even begin to comprehend how many products and services could be crippled or haulted by an attack on thier cyber capabilities.  -  Barbara

Although the United States military created the Internet, I heard on the news about 2 weeks ago that some country is wanting the Internet to be taken out of our hands as they see it as we have too much control.

Interesting entry, Dirk.  Gives one lots to think about.

I've always said technology would be our downfall. You can't give that much information and trust to something and expect it not to be used against you. (Hugs) Indigo

And Hey!  I know all about Bill Clinton, who cut the heart and soul out of our military.   Did he think that there would never be another war or battle?  And I would expect the same from Obama, who is "LEFT of Sen. Teddy Kennedy.... duh"
Well we are on the 'slippery slopes' now and nothing short of a major engagement... that will lead to the "Lord's Day."

Hi Dirk, I didn't see this article, but one like it also from Hal Lindsay about (good grief I'm having a brain freeze right now!) but those electronic impulse bomb type things- you know it's a bomb, but it explodes up in air and sends out electric pulses or something wich will knock out everything that you listed above.  I know there area lot of things we don't think about which require some kind of computer- from cars and phones etc.  My family could survive without modern technology, but it would be hard for millions if something like this happened here.  God Bless and keep the updates and excellent info coming!!!  Carolyn

Hi Dirk, Thank you for visiting my journal. You and Nelishia make a cute couple. I am not really in politics... bet my husband could give you something to talk and think about... but he don't do journals. I have my own beliefs on what is going to happen... but a lot of people might think I was crazy. lol Wishing you a wonderful weekend with lots of blessings. Hope Nelishia gets to feel well soon. :-) Blessings, Janie

Dirk, Thank you for visiting my Journal, Behind The Curtain of Deception.  You have just touched on a subject that has just recently happened to me.  Whats really strange is the quickness of their attack.

You see I have another journal named: Immigration Legal.  This journal I post the truth about behind close door dealings between Mexico and our Government Congressmen and Senators. Also what is not happening with the Fence.

Just after I posted somthing about Nancy Pelosi meeting behind the doors dicussing a five year illegal Immigrant 5 year Amnesty bill.

My computer was attacked by a Monster Virus McCaffee did not stand a chance. I went to Norton. And I'm back but when it was attacking I could see my programs diappearing before my eyes.

the thought of terrorists messing with our computer infrastructure IS very frightening. In this day and age we are so vulnerable.

I use to have a Security system that would alert me when my computer was being attacked. I also had a button that when I clicked it It would ping and show me were the attack originated. Most of the time they came from China or Russia.

Most all the time they would go through several different points most all the time they would go through Canada.

Oh, I do think that attack could be very effective on the computer systems on which we have come to rely so heavily.  something to look into especially for those with any power to prevent some way or another the worst.  Gerry  P.S. Glad you got better!

This is indeed frightening. I cannot imagine the havoc should our infrastructure be attacked.  You are right, it would be catastrophic without so much as a single shot being fired.  I will definately view the video, I am at the office but will check it out later from home.  I hope our govt is on top of this issue.  I appreciate the information you pass along to us, it is very valuable.  Glad to hear you are feeling better too!
