THE NAFTA SUPERHIGHWAY

Here is another video that was sent to me recently, although it was originally posted in October 2006.  This is a segment from CNN about a proposed superhighway that would run from Texas to the Canadian border.  It's I-35 and the most alarming part of it is, the majority of the members of Congress have never heard of the proposed project!  The following video explains it much better than I can here.  Those of you with slower connections, hopefully this will load.  It's much shorter than my last video, just under three minutes.  This is well worth your time to load and watch, especially if you are a student of End-Time Prophecy.  For those of you who may not know what NAFTA is, click HERE

The good news is, that according to STOPTHENAU.ORG, three states have passed legislation opposing it, and sixteen others, as of 2007, had such legislation pending.  Clicking on the above link will show you the status of your state.  If your state isn't one of the states opposing it, push your legislators to either introduce it and pass it, or continue efforts to pass it.  One of the biggest problems with this is the security part of it.  Our nation's security would be at risk along with U.S. sovereignty.  I don't think there's any question about it, this must be stopped.  Inform your Congressmen/women and your state legislators.  We don't need this, the cost to taxpayers would be enormous, the cost in national security would be even higher, and our great country doesn't need to just blend in with Canada and Mexico.

Hi Dirk- I had heard about this, but thought the trucks were already here.  This is one of those thingsI have NOT bee able to understand- that in this day of terrorism, how in the world can the government be for something like this!  It makes no sense, and I pray that it will be shot down before it has a chance to continue. I just don't get it.  I'm having to jump through hoops to comply with immigration, and to get a passport so I can visit "backhome"- but yet others seem to get a red carpet rolled out- no questions asked.  Oh- in these last days this really is an upside down world!  God Bless and keep on keeping us informed!  You're doing great, and thanks for all the digging you do for us! we don't need this highway in my opinion! it will just take away jobs and we have enough problems of the people (mexicans) who come over here illegally and are driving with no insurance. yeah give them a big rig to drive and see how long it is before they hurt or kill someone.

G. Gordon Liddy broke the NAU story on his radio show last year and supposedly there is now a congressional committee investigating it. As far as the Mexican trucks, that's dead for now, thanks to the Democrats, believe it or not. They killed the financing for FMCSA's little "experiment" because of objections raised by the Teamster's Union. As a trucker, I was worried (as were most of us) about losing our jobs to Mexican drivers and mainly about them undercutting our pay, which is already lower than it should be, when you consider what we put up with on a daily basis.

I write a conservative political blog myself and I invite you to visit and read my entries, if you wish to.

I have actually heard about this, D.  I'm opposed to it as well.  Don't we have enough problems with undocumented people?  I think the highway would make things worse in that regard.

We have Bill Clinton to thank for NAFTA.  This is why I'm NOT supporting Hilary in the presidential race.  She had her time in office and when it was time to leave, she was taking furniture that was supposed to stay in the White House (am I the only one that remembers that?).

Thank you for keeping this topic alive.  I hope others become more informed now!

Dirk, thank you for bringing this to my attention.  I am shocked & horrified at even the possibility of a superhighway opening the borders.  I cannot imagine what or who would be smuggled through.  The other comments are very valid and I agree with each so I will not repeat my feelings as they've already been said.  I was happy to see PA is opposed.  Thank you again....keeping people informed is our first line of defense against things like this.  You do great work.

so good ol' Bush wants the Mexican truck drivers to have the right to drive deep into the U.S. with their "cargo", huh? Has he forgotten about 9/11?   Between the terrorists and the lost jobs and wages of honest American's this is one BAD idea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
