WE OWE A DEBT THAT WE CAN NEVER REPAY-PART 2

You  hear the jokes about the war, and make fun of men like him.

He  hears the gunfire, bombs and screams of the wounded.

You  see only what the media wants you to see.

He sees  the broken bodies lying around him.

You  are asked to go to the store by your parents. You don't.

He does  exactly what he is told even if it puts his life in  danger.

You  stay at home and watch TV.

He  takes whatever time he is given to call, write home, sleep, and  eat.

You  crawl into your soft bed, with down pillows, and get comfortable.

He  tries to sleep but gets awakened by mortars and helicopters all night  long.

If  you support your troops, send this to 7 people.

If you  don't support your troops well, then don't send this out. You won't  die in 7 days, your love life won't be affected, and you won't have  the worst day ever.

You  don't have to email this. It's not like you know the men and women  that are dying to preserve your rights.

REMEMBER  our Troops, and do not forget them LATER

 Lest  we forget -

 KEEP THE CHAIN GOING

thanks is never just enough..!!!...these men and women have put their lives on the line to protect me and my family and our  american way of life...they do this for us and here back at home  we watch our freedoms and rights being taken away from us in the name of terrorism .......by the very administration..... that sent these soldiers into combat....our country is being molded into something right out of george orwells"1984".....i was a republican for 25 years ..fought hard for ronald reagan   but the bush family has singlehandedly brought this country closer to the brink of self annihilation  than any outside force save a military one....what about bin laden..???..what about afghanistan..???...it wasn't about oil ..???  i use to say it wasn't but ..gee ..oil companys at record profits ....bush not aware of the price of gas ....nat debt at 9 trillion dollars...record trade defits...canadian dollar worth more than ours ..our industries and jobs going overseas...elimination of all the anti-trust laws  against monopolies...the list goes on and on .....hopefully those young men and women will return to help us fight for OUR freedom and rights to be restored...!!!...j.t.

God bless these people who thought they were going to war, not starting one. Make fun of them? No way. They are representatives of all that is good and honorable in America. To bad we can't say the same of he-who-started-all-this.

I'm grateful that they are fighting so hard and being in danger for so many ungrateful people.  Sometimes it does all seem for nothing- we live in a violent world now no matter how hard they fight to bring peace- but I thank God for them every day and pray they can make a real lasting difference.  Thank you Dirk for posting this.  We all need to be reminded... and humbled. God Bless them- and you.  Carolyn

My sister sent me this a while back, and it moved me to tears. Her son is a Marine, and we don't really know where he is right now. Last we knew, he was on a ship. I hope people never stop remembering how brave our troops are, and the sacrifices they make.

The one rule about the military is, Dirk, that they do what the politicians order them to do. Don't blame the soldiers - blame the idiots in power.
