A VOTE FOR OBAMA IS . . .

Here are a few of the things to expect if Senator Barack Obama is elected President.  Some of this is also supported by the Democratic Party platform, regardless of what Obama is saying to try to get votes. I know this is rather long, but it is all VITAL information that I think everyone needs to be aware of before they vote this November.

Obama's budget proposal is 60% larger than ANY ONE YEAR FEDERAL SPENDING INCREASE EVER. And just how do you think he intends to pay for it all?  That's right, massive tax increases on YOU and ME, since the government doesn't have one cent that belongs to them - no such thing as government funds.  It ALL comes from US.

Obama opposes offshore drilling to reduce gas prices and begin becoming independent of Middle Eastern oil (regardless of what Obama said recently, this is supported by the Democratic Party platform - see my earlier posts on the party platform.  Obama holds this position in spite of over 75% of the American public wanting to start drilling now).

Obama opposed the Born Alive Infants Protection Act in Illinois.  In other words, infants who survived an abortion attempt, would have NO protection and would be allowed to die.  Here is a  5 1/2 minute video on this very subject:

Here is a very short video, less than one minute in length, that shows a comparison between Senator McCain and Senator Obama on the issue of abortion:

Notice how Obama stutters and stammers.  This happens anytime he is confronted with something that has not been scripted by his professional speechwriters.  I believe that he is caught between being honest about his personal beliefs and saying what he thinks voters want to hear.

Obama has stated that if elected, he would meet with nations that sponsor terrorism with NO preconditions. I find this interesting since he has been officially endorsed by North Korean President Kim Jong-Il (terrorist enemy) and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (terrorist enemy) for starters.  Not to mention the illegal campaign contribution made by the three brothers who live in Hamas controlled Gaza (see my previous entry on this subject).

In case you can't play the above video, here is the script (Obama quotes in red): After just three years in the Senate Barack Obama demonstrates his poor grasp of basic economic principles.

While families face tough times his ideas to raise taxes are out of touch.

His promise to nearly double the capital gains tax hurts the middle class.

"...what I've said is that I would look at raising the capital gains tax for purposes of fairness."

"Your talking about 100 million Americans who own stocks that will get impacted by that capital gains tax increase."

"I think we can have a capital gains rate that is higher than 15%."

"Why raise it at all especially given the fact that 100million people in this country own stock and would be affected?"

Barack Obama also promises to raise the payroll tax cap on millions of workers and small businesses.

"I think lifting the cap is probably going to be the best option."

"The best idea I think is to raise the cap on the payroll tax."

Does Barack Obama understand our economy? Then why would he raise taxes at the worst possible time?

(The immediatley preceding script and video is from the Republican National Committee - and Senator Obama himself).

This is just for starters - the more one researches Senator Obama, the more only one conclusion can be drawn - Obama isn't right for America.

In fairness to all, could you write "mirror image" piece on McCain? Thanks. In advance, of course!

I just came by your blog from the Jland anniversary blog.  I haven't been here for awhile.  If you would like me to send you an email on more info on Obama and abortion let me know.  I was sent an email by Pat Buchanan.  I also did some research of my own, b/c I am planning to do an entry on this subject eventually in my blog.  Email me at fisherkristina@aol.com

he does not have my vote. I want Hillary back. And Bill. Never ever McCain. Obama is someone that no one knows enough about at this point to make a decision, if you ask me.

wow
I have been wondering if there is any flexibility in all of these demands
the middle class businesses (mom and Pop) could really use some slack instead of this. they cannot afford capital gains tax given that their receipts are lower than ever this year and their taxes are higher than ever
very bad timing
